Hurrell goone again? I haven't seen him since that arm bar</p></blockquote>They strapped him up, assumed he was staying on. But yea, I haven't seen him either. -
<p>40-18 - good win although still lacking some execution on the final play. McFadden needs to correct that before he can keep off paying that mortgage with a sense of calm.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Some pointers:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>- Liking the use of Vete and Matulino in the backrow. Thompson needs to play big minutes, sure, but Vete and Matulino provide a bit more power.</p>
<p>- Also Gubb and Lisone give the Warriors forwards some energy off the bench, doing most of the shorter hit ups, which means Matulino can play 60-70 minutes a game.</p>
<p>- Robson isn't working. Was terrible today. Can see Leuluai replacing him once he comes back. Or Lolohea next week.</p>
<p>- I don't know what happened to that man known as Solomone Kata but lets keep this one. Ran hard, (actually) tackled hard. Still doesn't pass but two outta three ain't bad.</p>
<p>- Hurrell. Only a few minutes in the second row (plus some in the centres) but the team definitely picked it up a notch when he ran onto the park. Also looked like he really wanted to be there.</p>
<p>- The Knights and their chicken wing tackles need to be sorted out quickly. Dangerous and foolish stuff.</p>
<p>- Robbie Rochow had a worse game than Robson. Even injured one of the few good players in the Knights today (Levi). Shocker.</p>
<p>- Jazz Tevaga needs to remain in the side, he can play NRL footy. However I could see Bodene covering hooker when he comes back.</p> -
Was good to see Big Ben offloaded in the tackle. Makes a huge difference. <br><br>
One of Kata's better if not best games for the Warriors. Solid in defence and excellent in attack. -
<div>Now we're on a win streak let's stick with the same side to face the Chooks on the Central Coast.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>1 Roger TUIVASA-SHECK</div>
<div>2 Tuimoala LOLOHEA</div>
<div>3 Blake AYSHFORD</div>
<div>4 Solomone KATA</div>
<div>5 Manu VATUVEI</div>
<div>6 Shaun JOHNSON</div>
<div>7 Jeff ROBSON</div>
<div>8 Jacob LILLYMAN</div>
<div>9 Issac LUKE</div>
<div>10 Ben MATULINO</div>
<div>11 Simon MANNERING</div>
<div>12 Ryan HOFFMAN (c)</div>
<div>13 Albert VETE</div>
<div>Interchange</div>
<div>14 Jazz TEVAGA</div>
<div>15 Sam LISONE</div>
<div>16 Charlie GUBB</div>
<div>17 Konrad HURRELL</div> -
I know McFadden was copping some stick for prior to this week. But were the results not pretty much to be expected? I don't know much about Wests Tigers, Sneak and you other leaguies can enlighten me, but I wouldn't have expected wins v Brisbane or Melbourne.<br><br>
I understand performance was down in the first halves of the first two games, but results wise (this year in isolation) was surely not cause to panic?<br><br>
Good win and I enjoyed the bit I watched (last 30 mins). I don't say that often about league. -
<p>It wasn't just this season's losses but the losses all of last season as well which put the pressure on McFadden. Not to mention the major hype around RTS and Luke joining the club. But talented teams can start slow (Cowboys were 0-3 to start last season).... unless they're Brisbane or Melbourne.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I found their performances against Wests and Brisbane to be quite bad. They are quite lucky they played the Storm early - for some reason Melbourne always gets the Warriors going. </p>
