@Chris-B forget it - no way he's going to Ta$man
Seems not.
Our significant third party deals are a free scoop of chips at the Victory Square chippie!

@Tim colour me pessimistic, but I really struggle to see a league player coming over quite late into his career, being able to adjust to the midfield in both attack and defence in union, especially considering he only plays fullback in league doesn't he?
Yep. That has Foster written all over it. Surprised that he isn't being touted as a prop.

I see Rattue has said Warriors should basically can him, he has betrayed them.

Got a link ? I love Rattues articles. He's the Don Bradman of sportswriters.

@MN5 nah was in an actual newspaper at work, am sure you could find it if you really wanted to read it.
well I'm certainly not paying for it, my heritage wouldn't allow that.
Sigh, guess I'll go and rummage through the bins out front of the dairy.

Saw that headline yesterday, and didn’t go anywhere near it!
Betrayed them, WTF is that fluffybunny serious?
In that case players and clubs all betray each other all the freaking time.
Serving that shit up is a new low for the Herald Tabloid IMO.

He’s being crucified on FB for the article and rightly so. It’s sad we live in a world where he has a soapbox to preach his inflammatory shit

far from me to defend the publication or the writer but...
there is a pervading opinion throughout the NRL that a player or a coach is entirely incapable of playing for a team if he has signed anywhere else for the next season.
My horribly stereotypical take is that the vast majprity of league fans are unprofessional dimwits who project their thoughts on to thie players "if i had lined up another job i would do fuck all until i left. prob just take heaps of sickies" and thus to them a player will just quit and not try and win.
you watch this year when contracts for next year start being signed, there will be calls for the player to go immediately.

@MN5 if he ever had any job opportunities outside of the Ferald I'd love to throw this back at him if he wrote for Stuff or Newshub. Oh no, the betrayal!
So I'm assuming Rattue hates any Super player who has played for more than one franchise ?
Oh silly me, he just hates Rugby full stop, that's right.

Or the media helps drive this fear so when they reach for their daily telegraph or courier they go insane. To be honest I would say there is a healthy dose of both. Clearly though this was just Rattue/Reason clickbait that elicited the exact response the paper was after.

He's signed:

the transition is harder than folk think. And it takes a while.
Seems quite a few high end league players get bored with their sport - just a passing observation.
got to be better than Benji
