lets say it was 3 feet over the stumps. i think. i dunno, i kinda saw it hit the pitch, and then i heard it hit the keepers gloves.
I drove him through mid-off for an easy single the next ball. Then next over creamed him through the covers for 4, one of the best shots i ever played at prem level. I don't know why that sequence has stayed with me. It was in '98 (i think) FFS. God i am getting old.

Headline aside, which appeals to a childish sense of humour (I laughed), they are in a town called Pratt. They have disability mentoring day, the main protagonist is called Luna, who wants to know about about caring for animals, and the crux of it all is a snake eating a mouse which impressed her.
Even the "journalist's" email is "grose". -
