Unreal performance by India to win the series, with pretty much their b team.

    Great to watch.

How the hell did they chase that down. At the GABBA. Against a genuinely world class Aus attack. Missing most of their best players.

That will live a long long time in the memories.

Anyone who doubts Test Cricket is the best form of the game needs an absolute beating.

    Amazing stuff.

1988... Tim Paine and Nathan Lyon might have been the only Australian players alive the last time they lost at the Gabba.

After the Aussie cricketers reverted to type, the world celebrates! Love it.

I did not think there was any chance of India chasing that down today. Run chases often look so promising, but just derail.

Wow. Just so remarkable. I've been stuck on the couch with elevated pulse rate for the last bit, just so amazing. So many storylines in there - the injuries, lack of Kohli, goddamn.

Aside from that 1st test collapse, India have been right in this all series. Massive win, well done, go and celebrate. Won't be the last with the production line of talent they're producing right now

Sack the coach, sack the captain.

Keep Wade though just in case...

Pujara won’t get the headlines, but by christ his dogged performances have had a big say in this series win.

He was the lynchpin of the chase. Without his stand India aren't in a position to try and win

The writing was on the wall for Aussie after they let India escape from a possible lowest ever to a whopping score of 36 that will be remembered forever as the spark to the Indian flame. Amazing stuff from such an inexperienced side missing so many regulars.

@Gunner Siraj’s 5 wickets, Washington’s two innings were big time too I reckon.

Indeed, I love the fact that there's still room for vital innings that aren't huge in the modern game. Those efforts were as valuable as centuries all things considered.

Yeah the opposition would appreciate it if he were there too.

Ponting in comms was saying on Day 3 that guys like Washington and Siraj are exposed to so much high level play at home now, along with mentoring from international players and coaches through IPL and other competitions.

Sure, you can only get 11 out there at a time, but when you're selecting those 11 from the best of a nation that large, it has to have an effect.

At the same time we debuted a couple of blokes who did alright, but I think we gave Starc too many chances instead of trying someone else, and obviously the batting didn't perform well enough in the first 2 Tests.
