The franchise confirmed ahead of this week's squad announcement for 2021 (7am Thursday) that their entire coaching group had reupped for next season at least as they look to make further ground in the wake of their 2020 breakthrough.

Some forwards from the Blues region worth looking at:
Jarred Adams
James Lay
Marco Fepulea'i
Teague McElroy
Jimmy Roots
Ezekiel Lindenmuth (Counties)
Nic MayhewLeni Apisai
Loteru Tolai
Jordan OlsenHamish Dalzell
Tim Sail
Niko Jones
Adrian Choat
Sione Tuipulotu
Presley Tufuga
Matt Matich
Terrell Peita -
@Tim I reckon if he hadnt missed almost 2 full seasons with concussion issues, Kane Jacobson would be on a full contract somewhere, TBH I'm surprised he has made it back!
At 27, I think a super career has likely passed him by.
Also Matich wont let anyone down.

All five NZ Super Rugby coaches will be on the Breakdown tonight to discuss the makeup of their squads for 2021. They won't officially be announcing the squads until later in the week which seems odd considering they used the Breakdown to announce them in 2019.

A good link to see all the squads side by side -

@Daffy-Jaffy It is interesting to look at the breakdown of the squads by position in that graphic. Both the Crusaders and Highlanders have selected 7 props. There are differences in the number of loose forwards and outside backs too. Obviously some players aren't correctly assigned to a position.

@Daffy-Jaffy said in 'Super Rugby' 2021:
@Bovidae The Blues site squad announcement page says that there is one more player to be added but does not say which position. I would guess midfield but they did run with 8 loose forwards last season'
Chiefs media release, too.

I tried posting it as a picture, but it's too big.
