Premiership semi-final: Tasman vs BoP
-
@taniwharugby BoP is probably bringing Glen Jackson with them.
Which I wouldn't actually mind, because he's easily confused and just referees a homer regardless!

@bayimports Wait till Cricket season comes....there's going to be searing commentary on the composition of that Northern Districts team and how it's funded (how many fucking games at Bay Oval....)?
Iβll cry crocodile tears into my beer on the embankment for you. π

@Chris-B can you find any current news? Jeez!!
The Ta$man Invitational XV does live in a 1970s time zone I suppose

Embankment-Shembankment!
I shall do the same for you on Saturday night from the luxury of my plastic seat in the scaffold stand!

looks shit. The Bay by a thousand

@ARHS The front row is injury related.
Not sure why they've switched Coxon and Tu'ungafasi, but Makalio and Salmon must be injured - they've been first choice pretty much all season (except when Lomax was available).
Not sure whether Ainley is injured or they're just preferring Cirikadaveta and Ross. I thought Cirikadaveta at blindside was a good selection in terms of adding size. There's only one lock on the bench.
Backs are the best we have with Nankivell injured.
A bit down on strength, but it's only the MMMBoppers!
-
build up report, not even the media can find a Bay team list even at this stage of the season..
-
@bayimports a good read. While no team lists, the Facebook page does tell us that Mike Delany could still be emergency injury cover if needed.
-
BOP team out now. Kane Leaupepe is not there. Injured?? Or is this a decision based on the Ta$man forward selections? Otherwise full strength from recent weeks.
Looks to me like it will be an enthralling game. I was worried Ta$man might try to maul and muscle BOP up front, but looks fairly evenly matched now
