Who will get a first SR contract ?

Luke Campbell may be worth a look after sparking bop resurgence. Joe Johnston Stan Van Den Hoven and Matt Garland might all become contenders if they continue their form in coming weeks. Very interesting now that the form in top division has swung round so abruptly.

On the Newshub story about TJP the other night they hinted that the Hurricanes were the only team that had a position available at halfback. That would suggest Milo-Harris is contracted to the Chiefs for 2021. Bad news for Roe as well, if true.

Anybody got any thoughts on new players getting contracts ? .It is getting close to Squad reveals, Cant wait to see who gets a contract.
The squads are going to be very interesting for 2021.
The Blues already look like they will be hard to beat in 2021 they are my pick to win both comps.

Crusaders are surely the favourite. At Super level Mounga is a master meanwhile Blues won't have Beaudy.

For me its the Blues. They will have great depth Crusaders will not have Bridge,Ennor,Matale at the start they will still be rehabing.
Depends on who they bring in to cover those 3. and replace Harmon,Paea and maybe Allen,Romano,Finau who could be out for 2021.

@Chris Even without Bridge, Ennor and Mataele, you guys can still put together a killer backline.
9 - Bryn Hall
10 - Ritchie Mo'unga
11 - Leicester Fainga'anuku
12 - David Havili
13 - Jack Goodhue
14 - Sevu Reece
15 - Will JordanTo me that's the best backline in the comp.

Sure we can put together a good 20 but I think your depth is stronger in the Loose Forwards and Props,
Hb we are ok but not much to cover First Five and the MF if we get another injury from the players you have named.

@Chris 9, 10, and 15 all big questions for the Blues. There's a few points per game, especially under pressure, at stake there. Midfield depth is a worry too.
For the Crusaders big questions over First five and MF depth after the top 15 are put together.LF to are a bit lacking in fire power outside the starting combo.
It is going to be interesting to see who everyone gives new contracts too.
