Canterbury v Auckland
-
haha WTF was that pass...Rayasi steals it to extend his lead at the top of the table
-
wow, nice effort for his first kick of the season to nab the lead back
-
Wow , 19 year old casual as you like steps up and drills a 45 metre penalty goal ..
-
Whoever covered the ball in soap in the last ten minutes, please stop it

That was really something.
Rayasi will be an AB.
-
@gt12 not ahead of Clarke, which seems the only wing spot available...
-
This has been a great day for close finishes in the comp.
Please don't change the format
-
@gt12 Rayasi should be an All Black right now..

Let's get one of them playing on the right wing.
Rayasi, Barret, Clarke would have plenty of pace, three dangerous runners, two good under the high ball, two with a kicking game
-
@Steven-Harris Well I've got no idea what Barrett is doing on the wing.
-
If only the Ta$man Invitational XV had turned up last week.
-
Yessssssssss
-
Fair play to Canterbury, safety looked a long way away three weeks ago.
-
Oh well. Better than I was expecting with the pack we were forced to play

In a season with 3 one point losses, a one point win is fitting.
-
Canterbury escape relegation. Good comeback from them. Auckland shit the bed pretty bad in the second half. Probably good that Auckland lose a game and their spirits are slightly broken going into the semi.
-
good end to the season for the cantabs, beating 2nd and 1st on consecutive weeks to fend off relegation (which may not happen anyway)
-
@Tim you and me both brother..I would imagine the 2 players that have beaten more defenders in the Mitre 10 cup would be ENS from CM and Rayasi , Rayasi in my opinion is the player of the Mitre 10 Cup ..daylight 2nd

Whilst it’s been hard to watch as a Canterbury fan, overall it’s been a fantastic NPC season with a far more even spread of results particularly in the top half.

@Yeetyaah We will beat Waikato by at minimum 20 points. Very lucky to qualify.
Famous last words @Tim 😉
-
@ACT-Crusader it’s crazy to think , just one win has been the difference between making a semi final and being relegated ..feel a bit for Harbour , but this is exactly what you want from a comp as well as some upsets along the way ..

TJ loves this team of HEROES and greats who are in last place.
Who was he calling a great? Who was he calling a hero?
Did you hear TJ fawning over Rayesi?
-
@Yeetyaah your a hard case..on the basis of what I saw yesterday up In Kaikohe , It would be one hell of an upset ..
-
@Crazy-Horse He was losing it over Harmon and Romano.

weird that arguably the best pack in the comp on their day gets relegated

And one of the better 9-10 combos in the comp too.
-
@ACT-Crusader No depth in the backs.
-
@Tim Romano probably is a great for Canterbury. Didn't notice the Harmon stuff.
-
@Crazy-Horse Harmon was excellent today though, whatever fawning TJ does over his red'n'black jersies.
-
@taniwharugby The Mitre 10 website has Wellington in 4th and Waikato in 6th behind Canterbury.

@Daffy-Jaffy but Waikato beat both of them, which is the 1st decider on tie breaks

@ACT-Crusader hardly fair if you have been beaten by a team on same points....these are apparently the rules

@taniwharugby so why did Taranaki finish ahead of Northland, given same competition points and the Taniwha won the head to head?
-
@bayimports ,I know , how crazy , to be honest I have enjoyed watching the Mitre 10 cup more than following the All Blacks ..I think of all those Fringe players Foster pulled out of the comp ..for What..?.somebody to hold a hit shield , like that’s worked out really well ..🤦♂️
