@Duluth said in NPC - Premiership remaining matches:

The Mooloos face Northland in Whangarei Kaikohe with a top-four spot in the Premiership guaranteed for the first time since 2011 because they can’t finish lower than fourth.

    Fixed it

So Waikato only get a semi if BOP and Harbour draw?

@Tim Waikato are now fourth on 29 points due to the Wellington win. BOP and Harbour have 26 and 25 points each. If either of them win, Waikato get fifth.

Wait am I missing something? Is the table position not determined by points difference in the case of a draw?

Table is wrong I think. Waikato should be third as they beat welly and are both on 29

@Machpants so they changed the tiebreaker criteria for the table?

@Duluth I guess, but was that an amendment for 2020 or they always had that in the tie break rules?

Top 4 wont change on this result:

Same as the CHampionship table, this shows the table based on points diff, not who has beaten who which is the first decider when tied on same points, so Waikato are 4th.

@taniwharugby except that table is wrong

    Premiership semifinals:

    Auckland v Waikato
    Ta$man v Bay of Plenty

    Championship semifinals:

    Hawke's Bay v Taranaki
    Otago v Northland

Nah for some reason they've had Wellington above Waikato all weekend. That's wrong, Waikato smashed Wellington first round, so Waikato ahead on the table. Tie breaker is based on who won the game between the two during the round robin.

@Machpants those tables always show it on points difference, I guess up until yesterday when they get updated to show the tie breaker rule.
