US Masters 2020

If you believe in fate/omens or whatever, then Tiger is where you should be looking.
According to TV1 News...
When Jack Niclaus won his 6th Green Jacket, he was ranked 33rd in the world, and did it 23 years after his first win.
Tiger is sitting on 5 Green Jackets, he is currently ranked 33rd, and 23 years ago, he won his first Green Jacket...

Probably not a popular opinion, but I'd love to see Tiger win it

A bit familiar for Tiger too...but this one is Taylor Swift apparently:
I would also like to see Tiger win it. If only for the omen thing.

Watching on Kayo in Oz, and it's the best golf coverage I've ever seen. Shot after shot after shot, barely any ads, a great variety of golfers. No filler, no lingering shots of the azaleas, no long interviews. It's how golf should be.
Justin Thomas is looking ominous.
-
what happened to Jordan Speith? It's only a couple of years since he was the guy. Now you just never hear about him, and he went 2 over today.

@barbarian must look great without all the people too!
-
@taniwharugby That's the slightly depressing element to it all. Patrick Reed played a phenomenal shot from the trees on the 9th and was greeted with only a smattering of light applause. It deserved a full gallery roar.
-
@barbarian yeah I guess theres that aspect as opposed to the constant 'get in the hole'

I believe you get ejected if saying that at The Masters. It's much more civil

Must be the same coverage everywhere. As I also noticed how quick it was between shots and lack of bollocks.
Certainly the easiest I've ever seen Augusta play. Tournament is wide wide open.

I was wondering the same thing last night. We have a family joke about that, as when my daughter was 3, I was watching Jordan play golf on the TV over dinner once, and she asked me if John Beef played at Foxhills (our local golf club where she had swimming lessons) ...

It seems a very narrow line between being a top player and one of the pack. A whole series of players rise up to join the elite for a while then fade back into the pack. Molinari is another. For a year or so, he was at the top of the leaderboard and then he rejoins the pack.
With 13 and 15 playing like tricky par 4s and not par 5s, the back 9 looks vulnerable to a guy who's playing well. Plenty of players going on birdie streaks through there.
