Unless of course you refer to SANZAAR politics. In which case you could have a point.

I was Billy. Not internal SARU and yes the relationships between all of the "partners" is strained at best.

so have tickets for the double headers been sold, and were they priced as accordingly, or was it just a bonus having 2 teams?

    Yes ... some at least.

Bought a package of night in hotel (and brekky ... ) with tickets (Cat A) for 7 Nov.

Paid a bit of a premium, and would have paid just for the ABs v Wobs (looks like I have now) but the early test match just helped with the perceived value.

    No mention of refund yet.

Not been said. I guess they'll give everyone a few days with their family and head out on Sunday

Are crowds going to be allowed? If not, I think we will towel them up.

Yeah I think they can do that, an Ozzie will have to confirm. Last thing I saw was 50%

Crowds are happening. I suspect a lot of AB fans in those crowds.

It's an open border that way.

They only need to quarantine coming home

    @Kiwiwomble

From Friday, 16 October 2020, you can travel from New Zealand to Australia, quarantine-free, if:

    * you have been in New Zealand for 14 days or more and not been in a designated hotspot, and
    * you are travelling to Australia on a quarantine-free flight.

Quarantine-free travel from New Zealand will initially be to New South Wales and the Northern Territory only. Other states and territories may be added at a later date.

If you intend to onward travel to other states/territories, you should check local requirements prior to travelling. Some states and territories may require travellers from safe zone countries to quarantine on arrival.

TBF it's NSW that's opened up, not Australia.

There's a difference, as around 80 enzedders are wanted for hotel isolation in Vic/WA.

@Bovidae Jeez I hope they get the reduced squads right. I would have been tempted to keep a few if they were allowed, as you can never be sure about how long someone recovers from a head knock.

Could be a new opportunity for a reshaped back row to start too if the baby predictions delay the travel of Ardie.

@Hooroo wouldn't be surprised if the crowd was majority Kiwi. I was only going to shell out if we followed up on our early promise, but we didnt. Not worth the treck out to homebush.

Flying into Brisbane on game day will be a bit of a pain in the ass and a disadvantage.

Going to be fairly warm for that match as well. Already hitting 30 and high 20s most days now.

Yeah will probably be muggy as a bitch on game day. Very uncomfortable conditions.

Farked if I'll be there when it's 188 bucks a pop for the crap seats (which to be fair are still pretty good at Suncorp).
