Why are we persisting with Goodhue at 12 and Jordie at 14? Fucking idiots.
Especially when ALB at 12 and Goodhue at 13 works and they're both on the bloody field.
Hopefully they switch positions as required. Goodhue at 12 might be to keep the Crusaders combo.
β Foster says Lienert-Brown, Jack Goodhue will swap roles during the gameβ
that's retarded

@NTA Don't get why he wouldn't just start with Wright. Hanigan is a joke selection, rivaling the many that Foster has made.
Not a lot of difference in their physical dimensions but Hanigan is probably picked to tighten up our lineout defense by putting pressure on the ABs. They've lost Whitelock so that could be a good move - while he's not much difference in height to Wright, he's got better reach and experience at lineout time.
I'm still a bit iffy over it, but lineout was a major failing of ours on the weekend.

Ian Foster on the decision to demote Rieko Ioane to the bench: "We said at the time we've got three quality midfielders and we just felt this week that given Anton's greatest strength is decision making in that area it was the right call.
"We were actually pretty happy with Rieko's involvement last week."

lots of chat about the AB forwards "getting a rocket" during the week, like it's just assumed they have extra gears they can go to, and they all collectively had an off night. It's equally likely that they just aren't very good.

Quality fullback options for the Blues were pretty light on from what I remember.
That's harsh - Leon could have been player/coach

I like how you're lowering your expectations, but really you can't beat Wallabies fans in a race to the bottom on that or pretty much anything.

Is there some conspiracy to have the All Blacks so bad RA doesn't want to join NZR's SR competition?

It's ok guys, it's all part of the coaching succession plan.
They're just getting McLeod or Plumtree ready to sit in the big chair in 4 years time....
look, i've never understood those people who use social media to send evil hateful shit to people in the public sphere
but a post like this makes me tilt my head to the side and say "hmmmmm"

I'm thinking that in the absence of Whitelock, Savea was always going to play at no.8 to provide more experience to the loose forwards. You've already got a rookie lock starting and Frizell isn't exactly experienced either (10 tests). Maybe Sotutu ends up starting anyway if Ardie pulls out.

which is fucking dumb considering the wallabie pack that rolled us last week had barely started shaving
