Bledisloe Two: Auckland, October 18

@Duluth I thought @bayimports had it the wrong way around in the midfield. But no, it's a 12 at 13 and a 13 at 12.
FFS.
This feels like the most inevitable slide into mediocrity I can remember. It's really concerning for the next few months, let alone the next year or so. I really hope I'm proved wrong, but Fozzie is coaching like he did during the bad Chiefs years

you have ALB and Goodhue in the side, but play them round the wrong way...
Congrats to Clarke on his first start and Hodgman for his potential debut!

Firms up the point that there is some plan here with the backline tactics.
Goodhue is not a 12 in the sense of a second five or a linebreaker.
It is like they have skipped the 12 altogether and gone for a two 13 setup.
(Kind of makes sense if you skip pass the 12 on attack anyway) -

At least they are both there!

So that shows he was going to pick Bridge too, until he got injured.
Not sure you can conclude that.
He made no changes that weren't forced by injury, has kept everything else the same. Think it's pretty clear he would have left Clarke on the bench like Sotutu.

Uninspiring selections. Same loosies that were underwhelming last week, when will we learn that playing two opensides doesn't work. Jordie is not fast enough to play wing. If you are not going to pick him at fullback, then he shouldn't be starting. Struggling to understand what DMac has done this season to warrant a spot over Jordan.

isn't dropping Rieko a non-injury selection?

That's not true. Coles and ALB are starting.
