Not the tallest lock combo. (Blackwell's 1.90)

Taine PLUMTREE is a 20-year-old New Zealander rugby player standing at 1.95 m tall (6 ft 5 in) and weighing in at 108 kg (17 st 0.10 lb; 238.10 lb)

And hopefully Aidan Morgan gets reasonable game time

    1-Mackintosh
    2-Coltman
    3-Hohneck
    4-Regan
5-Dickson (hes back, which is nice to see)
    6-Eaton
7-Nel…not really thought of him as a 7
    8-Misiloi

    9-Hammington
    10-Ioane
    11-Nareki
    12-Morris-Lome
    13-Timu
    14-Koroi
    15-collins

disappointed to see we're playing around with the backline again, i thought ourbackline for the last few weeks had done enough, didn't fire last week admittedly

Timu and Morris-lome just seem too similar and collins offered something a little different, koroi and narkei are a pretty small wing pair, just doesn't feel as balanced

@Duluth strange that the instagram team announcement has Billy Proctor at 13 and PUJ at 12 with Vince Aso out altgother, whereas the team above suggests Billy Proctor is out of the 23 and Aso is starting.

One of them must be injured.

He's very good over the ball, and not that big for a no.8, so I think he will go well.

The one above is from a newshub story. It might be wrong

From the Lions website. Coaches don't see Savea as a midfield option

    https://www.wellingtonlions.co.nz/news/news-single/post/lions-team-named-for-clash-with-otago/

    9 Kemara Hauiti-Parapara
    10 Jackson Garden-Bachop
    11 Julian Savea
    12 Peter Umaga-Jensen
    13 Billy Proctor
    14 Wes Goosen
    15 Trent Renata

I know. But Savea said he wanted to play in the midfield. With Aso out this would have been the ideal game to give him a full run there. say at center with Proctor left at FB. With Pepesana Patafilo on the wing

Crowley said that they wanted to play Proctor at centre in the expectation Wellington loses PUJ to the ABs.

@Bovidae I suppose if he's trained there all week it makes sense to leave him there. PUJ goes well at 12 anyway.
