Nothing says "I want to show i'm my own man" by selecting zero new starters.
The back 3 is just plain weird - shoehorning the best 15 to wing in order to select someone at 15 who looked far better at 10 (not 15) during Super Rugby and then on the other wing deciding against a strike winger.
Yes, if that is the back three it is very underwhelming and so conservative.

I'd go so far as to say that is the worst of the 'likely' backline combos they could pick and I can't match it at all with their statement of selecting on form rather than reputation.
So, if this is the case, a big black mark in the first box of the regime for saying something and not having the conviction to see it through.
This all assumes that the sauce is good. -

Where is the announcement? It’s 7.18am, FFS!
Not only not Thursday, but also not 6 am. Hell in a handbasket!

Got my ticket a couple of hours back.
Hoping for a great game to wash the taste of my last live rugby from memory. Fucking fuck Yokohama bullshit fluffybunny pommy twats.Couple of mates are heavy advertisers with NZME, so have got free tickets for the game, including a spare for me - happy days.
Just been advised we've got the full hospitality package. Monday at work isn't going to be fun...

The really surprising line to read was “maybe with Aaron Smith”.
We’re not dealing with rocket surgeons here...Rocket surgeons - not sure if that was deliberate but I like it.
A sort of mixed metaphor - I guess rocket scientists and brain surgeons?
And yeah, Aaron Smith better be there!

Nothing a bucket of KFC won't fix!
Massive day on Sunday! Off to the pub first for a punt and a few swifties before the big event?

Think that's pretty cool. Despite being an entire page, is quite succinct.

It still feels like we have the wrong Chiefs coach in charge of each team...
We shall see if Rennie still needs the Professor

Pity that there wasn't chance of a reply page.
'We lost respect of you as a Rigby country because your administrators spent years trying to create a commercial model that valued throwing large sums at well known players from other codes to try and prove a point over promoting clear pathways from the base. Your results suffered the consequences and made us value playing you a bit more like a warm up.'

Yeah, I guess so... My friends arrive in town from Dunedin (actually coming back on the same flight as me by sheer chance) at lunchtime on Saturday so I fear it could be a triple header after I have a few beers in Dunedin tonight. Pray for me and my broken 41yo body.

@Rapido and a typo with 'quaratined'.
But great work that man (if it's legit)
He's been taking out half-page ads in the Aussie press for weeks. Just having his say on Australian rugby. I've quite enjoyed it.

"We in Australia includes Eric Tweeddale, three oldest living Wallaby..." who can still remember when his dad told him what it was like to be the holders the Bledisloe Cup...
