@Yeetyaah It is good if the Ranfurly Shield moves around.

@Chris-B should be cheering for the Naki or Wellington 2 weeks later. Ta$man could finally get their challenge if future results go their way.

    What, wait!

Is there still something that money can’t buy?

@Gunner Yes, and the person at NZR in charge of organising the NPC schedule is obviously an Otago fan. πŸ˜‰

They get the first RS challenge if Taranaki or Wellington win it.

@Bovidae Northland can't be far behind Ta$man on the disliked chart, as our challenges are very few and far between.

NZ Rugby will probably nick a few more Ta$man players into the ABs and then give our weakest team of the decade a crack! πŸ™‚

    You're just being silly.

    You don't get a crack.

It's Tew's revenge for not getting us gone when he wanted! πŸ™‚

There’s no point Steve Walsh will come out of retirement to ref Wellington v Canterbury shield game and give it to the home side AGAIN!

@Bovidae love hearing about a local lad coming back and loving it. Says he re-signed for next year already. Good prospect.

Can't argue with that. Then again, I'm a sensible Otago supporter who has the greater game at the forefront of my mind.

i think a lot of us are a bit sick of his shit, he doesn't create enough for even the most ardent one eyed supporter to overlook the repeated brain farts at best and straight out thuggery at worst

straight up replacement at 12, thats a better run than ive seen from Sio all year

@taniwharugby I am sure there are a few "super fans" from each province but anyone from Northland or Southland has a fair bit of travel to do. There is that guy with the flag from Taranaki but he might be mainly home games.

I've been to a fair few rugby grounds around NZ over the years but not with this level of dedication.

Something I'm already sick of hearing in the comp this year - refs yelling at players in front of the kicker to get back half a dozen times, while they completely ignore the ref and never retreat or halt. Yet no penalties.

@Bovidae hope Taranaki wins the shield. When Canterbury won it Like Whitelock didn't look to happy about, kinda pisses you off when you see the captain with no passion for winning the shield.

I'd forgotten all about that. I think I complained about the lack of passion at the time. I don't feel as bad about having lost it now.
