Good to see Plummer kicking 100%!
Yeah, I think the kicking yips have been over for a while now.
He had pretty good game, one of the better players out there. A couple of breaks, good kicking and even won a turnover

At his best, Tomkinson is a confrontational defender who can make a difference with his physicality, but Ioane said he still had significant work to do on his technique. βHe's a hard hitter, he always has been since he went to school, and he just needs to drop his hips,β Ioane said. βIf he gets a lot lower he'll be lining people up.β
True -the slightest effort on his behalf and he'd be a legally damaging defender in that channel.

Messy game which was expected. We left about 50 points out there but that's fine, no need to be peaking at this stage.
Sio Tomkinson really needs to change his tackling technique as well. Happens way too often with him.

@African-Monkey I can't really see how it's technique. How many legal tackles does he do a game? It's brain farts.

Well he seems to have said flatulence regularly.
Random thoughts without reading the thread:
Auckland wasteful. Should have nailed another 20 odd points.
Could whoever have picked the jersey colours for the officials tried a bit harder to make them more different to Auckland?
We've found Sotutu's first weakness: seemed to have some issues with control at the back of the scrum.

Yep - was apparent during Super Rugby too.
A weakness with most no.8s nowadays. Mitchell and Brooke were so good at this.
