@Tim we already have dermody on the books so maybe
if he r brown was promoted then i would have liked to see Ryan Martin brought in as assitant as he's done well with otago, would have good relationship with lots of players...but he's signed up in the MLR i believe

interesting, i didn't realise Brown is contracted directly with the highlanders rather than NZR unlike all other coaches

Unless the rumours about him losing respect of players have some weight.
That's a separate issue from succession planning
