So, turned out to be a good game to have missed then...
We were hammering them.
And then we lost.

thought you could only go back 2 rucks at most to look for infringements. there was clear 3 rucks.
Cane asked that I think, said it was “all one long play” or words to that effect , not sure now
-
@Kiwiwomble pity one long phase isnt in the rule book.

Not arguing, just what I thought I heard the ref say and I don’t know the letter of the law with that stuff

@Bones that’s fair, I’d be happy for collins to swap in for a bit
Off today's showing, definitely. His decision making and execution was sublime once he had less time....
Going off selection so far though I'm inclined to think we'll see McKay to 12 and Tomkinson shuffled out one.

I could see that, I like what McKay did with space though

Prexactly. He must be stopped.

Alright fuck I've chilled out a bit. So here my 2 cents.
Good:
Slater was incredible, needs to be starting every game.
Cane was great, apart from his card.
Mckenzie was good, didn't do anything overly stupid.
ALB looked great even at 13.Bad:
All of the replacement forwards.
Warren Gatland.Extra:
Aaron Smith was incredible.
The McKenzie try should have been allowed.Extremely disappointed in the Chiefs for losing that as it looked great, but hats off to the Highlanders for playing with that much heart.
-
@Yeetyaah You just mean it should have been allowed because they shouldn’t have looked back that far ?
-
@Kiwiwomble the call was offside even though the ball was ruled knocked back.

Yeah, I know the call, I was just trying to see why you thought the try should have stood?
-
@Kiwiwomble wasn't offside

I haven’t seen that more than the live feed. Did anyone check whether going back actually was within protocol?
No excuses for blowing a lead though. -
@Bones said in Chiefs v Highlanders:
That was a weird moment (highlighted by Marshall) when Laulala was allowed to get away with stopping Smith immediately after he took a quick tap.
Other refs might have called that deliberate foul play, delaying the quick tap

How so? It came off his knee and kit someone in front of him
