How good to see Ioane back. How much more comfortable does Hunt look at fullback at this level?

I can't mention Frizzel enough as well eh, the lineout take and the way he led that maul, see all the cleanup work he was doing?

    Coltman threw it in!!

What a weekend of NZ rugby. 2 point games in both. Last minute finishes.

Also the Crusaders won against the Bye.

Are you saying the comp is more exciting without the saders? 😉

@Kiwiwomble Love the Highlanders heart. They were seen as the whipping boys but showed that they should never ever be written off.

@Bones Ioane’s passing is test level class. It’s quick, he can pass long both ways. It asks questions of the defence.

One guy I was really impressed with was Parkinson.

He is starting to play to his potential.

Chiefs were perfection the first 20. But 2nd half, fark. Chiefs reserves not up to scratch, stupid mistakes. Coaching box was not a happy place.

Highlanders played well, especially Smith. Could have been messy at 24-0, but they never gave up.

I just let out a loud "FUCK!!!!" and walked off

Great comeback Highlanders. And another good game (even with heaps of mauls)

The big change was Thompson, midfield calmed down and just made some space for the outsides

I like rob but think he needs a break

    Gregory exercised some demons

McKay was good, that’s the kind of play I’ve always liked about him and glad we got to see a bit of it

None our those guys could have done what they did without smith, d Hunt, frizzel and MMT

Yeah to be honest I think that part of his game shades... well any other kiwi ten probably. Doesn't have the short passing game of some of the others but just gives so much time and space to the wide outs.

I feel like an alien has invaded his body. Completely different player from the previous few years.

I think he might just be a bit burnt out, he’s one of the seniors and one of the few constants in the back line this season, think he’s been trying to do too much

thought you could only go back 2 rucks at most to look for infringements. there was clear 3 rucks.

He started the season in the same form. If he's burnt out before he even plays then he needs to change something drastically.

Well not sure you can have a ruck if it's from an offside play...😬

@Bones that’s fair, I’d be happy for collins to swap in for a bit

I've never felt this angry after any rugby game loss before. Fuck Gatland and fuck the useless forward subs that came on.
