Even worse! PNZ were talking to Fisher's family and coaches on the morning the nominations were sent to the Halberg Awards committee and still forgot to submit it.

another chapter of the Halbergs is kicking off, add in McCaws NZer of the Year award last night, I expect there will be plenty more punters unhappy after all these awards are handed out.

Not too fussed about the Halbergs but I'd be shocked if the All Blacks don't win the team award at the Laureus awards.

MArk Watson was having a bit of a rant on RS about 5.15pm and while he had some valid points, he also didnt provide any solutions to make the awards 'fairer' to the 'other' sports.

Mark Watson is only happy when he has something to whinge about. On that basis he'd make the perfect ferner.

I try to avoid listening to him TBH, too ranty and off-base more often than not IMO, not to mention how often he hangs up on people when thier opinions differ to his.

So All Blacks picked up supreme award in the end, Lydia pipped again but her time will come.

Awesome to see Kane get the award of DC. Kinda expected them to give it to DC given his final year but yeah great to see Kane (and cricket) getting the recognition it deserves.

It was always going to happen. The ABs have only won the Supreme Award 3 times - 1987, 2011 and now 2015 (RWC winning years).

Scott Dixon has retained his NZ accent despite liivng in the US for a long time.

Like many people where English is not their first language, Ko probably learnt English watching US TV shows as she has always had an American accent.

When did Scott Dixon move over there though? It's easy to forget how young Ko is, and the younger you are the more likely you are to pick up a new accent.

Ko used to have a very strong Kiwi accent as a young teen but too much time over there has had it taken over by the american accent.

Scott Dixon has an american twang too
