Not sure why they play Gregory at the back, hes versatile but he struggled at the back in NPC, looks much more assured and dangerous at 12.

@Jailbreak7 Didn't have a good game tonight. Still can throw well though.

@Toddy Maybe he's still trying to prove that he can kick droppies after the criticism from (mostly NH) scribes last year (or was it in 2018?) that he can't kick them?

Struggling to think what Parsons adds?

Accurate lineout throwing, generally soudn defense, reasonable scrummager. Low mistakes when not overplaying his hand offensively 🙂

Almost saw him without headgear on tonight but Sky cut away...

Why is BB attempting drop goals under penalty advantage? Wouldn't they be better off going for the try.

He wouldn’t be doing it if he was at 10. When he’s at fullback he’s already deep to receive it.

It only ever makes sense if the penalty is won from a tough spot to kick from and you want a 2-for-1 freebie. Otherwise, I agree it's a total waste.

Good to see Carter talking through some game with Barrett.

    Clarke looks about 17yo

@Bones I’ll say. He’s clearly emotional, but the interviewer wants to keep asking questions???

Even if we all know he's going to be quite emotional tonight, it's better if the interviewer lets him bring that up himself. Rather than the first question being "So your granddad died today..."

Blues players bleaching their hair isn't helping the commentators. Noticed several times how they confused Rieko, Sotutu and even Akira (whose hair is pink).

To be fair TJ started off with saying that Black kicked off when Hunt did. I would have thought the fact that Barrett caught the ball might have been a big hint.

    Weather is looking great!

So light drizzle in a Queensland sense?

Watch: The Blues' virtuoso kicking game that proved the difference in their win over the Highlanders

Watch: The Blues' virtuoso kicking game that proved the difference in their win over the Highlanders

While praise has been fairly lavished on the danger-men on the Blues wings and in the midfield, it's the playmakers and their expert kicking that may well have been the difference when they bested the Highlanders on Saturday night.

Sotutu deserves all his plaudits but Mikaele-Tu'u has to be in the same conversation. Good to see 2 young 8s coming through.

Yeah I don't see why both shouldn't be selected for the ABs and I'd be very interested in seeing what MMT could do on the blind as well.
