This is a quiet thread. Seems a foregone conclusion, right, and everyone is focussed on Sunday in Auckland!
Yup! Highlanders come second in this match.....
If Cane and Boshier were both out, the game becomes more of a contest.

That’s true and more often than not my game predictions are wrong

Highlanders by 11.
Hammett to test positive for the Rona on Sunday morning and bring the whole competition to a halt.
He's all about developing culture. Just on this occasion, it'll be a virus in a petri dish.

You realise viruses can't reproduce by themselves so wouldn't develop a culture in a petri dish ... ?
Oh ...

One of the things Gatland has introduced are short and intense trainings. Quality not quantity.
I read that Cane has now been ruled out so the loose forward trio looks to be Jacobson, Boshier and Sowakula.
Kinda thought we did that in the 80s under John Hart and Jim Blair.

I was going to point out my complete lack of scientific knowledge as a caveat but...

Shorter training sessions compared to under Colin Cooper.

@Bovidae for sure but didn't stop the freshers from Auckland who have never watched a game in their life screaming and spitting on you. I remember the 2017 Landers vs Chiefs round 1 game I didn't go to the zoo and the Chiefs won the game and a bunch of freshers with their GoPro were trying to tilt me by shoving their camera in my face saying "Ah fuck the chiefs you fuckwit." Was even funnier coz the Landers just lost, didn't even score a try.
