I like to think it's not all internet tough guyness and if we actually got together for a couple of drinks we'd have some Banshee style pub brawls.

Guns might be a bit over the top but definitely bats and knives.

No pressure Doug, time to justify the faith the selectors have in you as a bowler who bats well.

Fuck. I said before the world cup i thought Hazlewood might be better than McGrath. I was only half serious, but i wish the fluffybunny would stop trying to prove me right.

The Black Caps are probably in their best fast bowling period ever as a unit ( not withstanding Paddles and Bond ).....Australia aren't but they still have a unit which more than matches ours.

Bird has been shit but Hazlewood is a very classy operator. Siddle is a known quantity but a very handy 3rd seamer. You chuck Starc in for Bird and you've got the makings of an all-time great opening combination.

more than matches? In a combined side i would take Hazlewood and Starc first, and then probably Boult, if he can prove his pace is back up. Otherwise Henry maybe on current form.

Yep - we'll see if our batsman can stand up to a home side assault.

As with the last ODI, you don't know shit until both sides have had a turn.
