Oops, spoke too soon. A t-shirt just turned up, and jeans for Mrs Shark (my shout, and I was immediately vindicated as she tossed me two parcels and nastily said "I see you've been having a shop up" but then I tossed the larger one back at her and said they were for her and that shut her the fuck up 🙂 )

Not clobber, but this morning I had a bottle of Little Biddy gin turn up. Can't wait to try it as there is some hype around it.

Don't know about hype but it is a nice gin and made interesting by the use of NZ native botanicals.

@Crucial It's the top-selling NZ-made gin of late and I'm seeing it everywhere on social media (ads, and peoples' posts).

Well done them. I'd have thought Scapegrace would be the top selling NZ 'boutique' gin of late. That's also a nice drop.

I'm sure that felt good. But you know you will be made to pay for that at a later date

Yep, had been. Outsold by Little Biddy the last couple months.

Has anyone in NZ had delays with items from the UK? I ordered an absolutely outstanding winter jersey last Tuesday (21 April). The company were very helpful re: sizing and got it picked up by the courier within an hour or two. It's now been sitting at the despatch facility near Heathrow for a week, judging by the Royal Mail tracker. I die a little more on the inside every time I check the tracking.

I have noticed stuff from Ali Express taking an age to arrive (none of it has arrived and deadlines are close), and lots of stuff on Amazon is heavily restricted. All part of the covid19 experience

Yeah I checked the Royal Mail FAQs for info - sounded like they held up deliveries from NZ from March 16-April 6, and have been clearing the backlog since then, but I was hoping the bow-wave might have settled a bit by now.

With the state of my beard at the moment, I would easily fit in at the bar at Dutch Harbour, Alaska, in between crab fishing stints. Well, at least until they spotted my disturbingly soft office-worker hands.

@Smudge I was searching for a picture before posting and realised any picture just looked like one of your sweaters and so the actual one would probably outshine anything I found.

    Bingo.

    Bingo.

It's time for me to retire the infamous Nordic knit cardie after 5 years. This is its replacement.

I was going to say Smudge, wouldn't that neckline be a little annoying on the particularly hairy man?
