    Lienert-Brown was good when he was selected as a centre. His only game as a 2nd Five was against England and it wasn't his best.

    It's a slightly strange selection in some ways and it includes six England players

    @mofitzy_ I'd pick any of the top 4 sides to take care of that one.

    @MiketheSnow

    I sincerely hope Dayglo is a selector, no make that the chief and sole selector, for the 2021 British and Irish Lions tour of SA.

    Will make the Boks task so much easier.

    Reminds me of the BBC's (IIRC) "Greatest XV of the 20th Century" which had Rob Andrew at 10....

    @sparky thought the Japanese hooker was the standout No2 by some distance, he was very impressive.

    @Billy-Webb Etzebeth and Mosert were both superb. Mosert was excellent off the bench in the final.

    Scott Barrett makes my team for his superb performance against the Boks.

    The Wallabies were mediocre but Latu, their hooker, was very impressive, making the hard yards systematically. His workrate was incredible and his LO throws faultless.
    I don't understand the ones who have taken Owens in their top XV. He's no world beater IMO, just sound and solid.
    The Uruguay halfback was excellent and is worth a mention. I did not pick Faf de Klerk because his box kicks were terrible.

    Those Opta stats reminded me of my favourite moment of the pools - Lappies tipping the ball out of some Russian’s hands, telling their fly half (?) the bus was full and then strolling in for a try.
