    Really enjoyed that game.

Congratulations Ta$man - by far the best team this season. Deserved champions.

Was impressed by Wellington too - they created enough chances but just couldn't do finish.

Oh great, another NPC final defeat for Wellington.

Congratulations to Ta$man. The Mako$ were fantastic this year.

@sparky Unbeaten in all NPC games this year is a splendid effort. I was lucky enough to be onsite to witness what was probably the last time they lost at the Hutt Rec on May 15 where they went down 31 - 24.

He was a prescient man, that Freddie.

It's almost as if he knew this moment was coming and made this video especially for me.

The very specific message for some selected posters (who know who they are) - is at 2.00, but don't skip ahead - watch the full two minutes to get the full gist of the message! 🙂

Well Ta$man have come of long way since Murray West, Stu Dayman and Willie Dempster. No longer struggling to beat Buller. Congrats.

@broughie I was very disappointed for West Coast at the weekend. Not far from beating South Canterbury and I'm pretty sure they're the only union that hasn't lifted a cup since the NPC began in1976.

@broughie well done mate, Willie, Westy and Dilly ( later Norman). Spent 3 hours reminiscing about those buggers on Sat.

@Chris-B I didn’t see that as I am Stateside and just follow the Premiership and that only by watching highlights on the Mitre 10 site :-).

Yeah - I think I worked that out a few years ago - full list of divisional winners back to 1976 here.
