Tasman v Wellington (Premiership Final)
-
After that performance last night against Canterbury, I'm confident our boys can go down to Nelson and get the job done against Ta$man, especially if Taufua is ruled out.
Goosen was a late scratching last night so hopefully he suits up. Ta$man are obviously hunting for their first title and Wellington will be keen to finally get one over the line after last winning in 2000.
Looking forward to this game, hopefully it's a dry track.

@Canes4life If you live in the city!
-
The fact we’ve lost about half a dozen finals since 2000 makes the situation even more desperate for both teams.
-
Looks like there will be a good crowd for this one.
The West Stand (covered seating) is sold out and the East (main) stand has only a handful of midfield seats left between the 22 metre lines - though still plenty between the trylines and 22 metre lines.
-
Any word on Taufua?

Worst. Thread. Ever.

How about the most important game of last weekend? That was a doozy huh.

Damn Japanese disappointing everyone

Ta$man looked worryingly lacklustre in that last game so this game could go either way.
-
@Duluth Yeah - need to wait to see who is unavailable for Ta$man.
Blackadder certainly out, I think - dislocated shoulder- and a big loss, because he's at the heart of the forward pack.
Some random on the Ta$man Facebook page says Taufua says he's fine and good to go, but seeing is believing on that one. Covering both Blackadder and Taufua (with Frizell also gone) will be tough - probably Fox-Matamua and Norris, but that reduces the dominance of our loosies.
Who knows with Will Jordan - a knee injury thanks to some dirt from Papali'i - but, he at least tried to run it off on Saturday, so hopefully might be a strain that recovers over the week.
And Quin Strange similarly looked to have a leg injury and wasn't running in the final few minutes.
