France FINALLY playing more than 20 minutes of rugby
just an aside, but i watched the 2011 Qtr v England last night, and realised my memory of France being a bit shit right up to the final was misplaced, they played beautiful rugby in that game
France also had a very good ~30 minutes against Wales in the opening 6N game but they completely forgot how to play rugby as a team in the second half and Wales stole it.
There have been glimpses of what could be a very good French team but there seems to be an underlying issue possibly highlighted by the recent attempted mutiny after a falling out between the captain Guirado and coach Brunel. It certainly wouldn't be the first time an international French team had fallen out with the coach and gone on to better things.

Thought the Aussies would cause the QF upset.
But England were convincing winners. Disappointed the Aussies didn’t step up. -

@Machpants not that I followed the bookies, but thats why the odds for that multi was shite....and when you look at the scores, only 1 game was in danger of going the other way.

So how many of us got it right by the clever tactic of following the bookies?
I certainly did. The bookies actuaries are better at probability calculation and risk analysis than me, even if they have never played rugby and are nerds.

@Snowy I worked with an Actuary when I lived in the UK who was a huge rugby fan, he was Welsh with a typically Welsh name...Stephen Jones.
