I'm glad it's only a yellow, bu if he was consistent with previous refereeing decisions, it should have been a red. It will be interesting to see whether there will be a citing.
Most of the Red Cards have been for shoulder charges which connect with the head, not high tackles. Doubt very much we will see a citing.
It's still direct contact with the head.

I'll post the framework later and then we can argue about it properly.
-
Yellow card hurting Wales. They look slow in comparison too. Slow of thought and execution.

We'll see in 5mins or so when the pundits disect it
-
@MiketheSnow there was chin music on that high one for sure.
-
@MiketheSnow We're not all watching the same pundits
-
What? France go for the lineout and drive.
-
I sort of think France should have taken a scrum or line out.

But at that point it comes down to dangerous or not? Ref decision. He decided not, previous games would have been red but they're Def pulling back on cards for knock out games

Awesome positive play, and then an uninterested 14 just meandering back to position with his back turned to the ball very much still in play.
French be French.So this!
They look amazing, then like a club team, within 20 seconds.
