Genia was fucking shit this RWC. Has been ever since he got back from France bar a couple of games where he looked better than shit
Just astonishing that any coach would select a player that so obviously tales time and space away from his team. Especially if you want to start with urgency.
That word coach is used pretty loosely.
If Aus were coached they'd probably win this world cup. Helluva talented team.

Sometimes no punchlines are necessary
Reminds me of the Rodney Marsh quote from his England debut:-
Alf Ramsey "Rodney, I'm going to have to pull you off at half time"
Marsh "Thanks boss, we only get an orange at QPR".
Good old Rodney, he and Stan Bowles made me proud to be a Hoops fan as a kid.
Having said no punchlines necessary, I belatedly thought of a caption for that video: "Unblocking the Sinck?" L'espirit d'escalier, I think our French chums would call that.

Why is Englands game plan devoid of usingb2 of their weapons: Watson and Tuilagi? The latter was pretty much anonymous for most of the game.
-
I think Krusty should really stay away from the media for a while. They played "quite well" ffs

oooh so Kearns saying all Aussie coaches for the last 15 years have been rubbish - wonder why he hasn't had a go
well done Poms
Because he's not a coach?
He should be

The gall to ask for a safe space during a press conference.

The sooner he’s gone the better

Who should they get next? I think someone who has the polar opposite temperament would be a good start. And more tactical nous

Key for me is A coach that:
Is happy to evolve and have his ideas challenged
Is pragmatic not idealistic
Is good at PR/press as Ozzieika rugby is in a bad place -

Dave Rennie is the front runner, apparently.

Is there no Aussies keen ? The last kiwi had a great cv and that didn’t end too well

I think he would be a great choice. Unassuming, humble, clearly has ability and is a winner. Won't be a dick like Dingo was, a breath of fresh air. Isn't he contracted in Scotland?

The problem for any coach is the issues are deeper than they can address in a Wallaby camp.
And a number of senior/ good players are leaving so there's not a lot in the cupboard to build around.
Having said that, any coach would be an improvement on Crusty.
-
is there even a chance he might not leave, ridiculous if there is. He should be shown the door, last night highlighted so many errors in the Aussie game, some half decent tactics and Aussie had a good shot at winning last night.
Wasnt there talk he should go prior to 2015?

This team could be so much more than what it is.
If it wasn't Australia I could possibly feel sorry for you, because I agree.
Some really good players (Beale is great) but there is no cohesion. I guess the modern term would be culture, but something is going wrong.

He said if he didn't win the cup he would go, several times. So he's gone.
Although I remember Foolau saying if he was every hurting rugby he'd also go....
