RWC: England v Australia (QF 1)

I reckon this Pom side has a bit of downhill skier about it ,
Looks great going forward , looks a bit shakey going the other way
-
fuck I hate them letting the subs come on to celebrate....

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a downhill skier ski uphill...

I don't see any evidence of coaching in this Wallaby team outside of set piece. Although it's hard to tell when there's no space because the defence is offside and Genia removes any remaining space by running sideways.
-
OK, so what changes do you make if your Cheika? Still in the match, but a good start with points is absolutely imperative.
For me, White comes on for Genia. Toomua comes on for Lealiifano, who hasn't been direct enough. Koroibete is being schooled by Watson, so I'd drag him, out Petaia on that wing and bring JOC into midfield.
Upfront, keep things as is and then roll the changes from the 50min mark.

Garces and his frog mates is utter cow dung. Some of the calls is unfathomable. All other teams should be glad the missed them
Really? Think he’s been fine.

Should disallow the try if it happens

@Billy-Tell missed a few critical things.

Offsides in particular

Stuart Barnes, on the aussie feed states, when describing Slades deliberate off side "that's Conrad Smith for the last 8 years, deliberate and cynical" in a comparison between eng and nz.
Steady on Stu
I love it that the world hates us

Could have given Slade a card. Maybe the odd offside. But otherwise ok.

He looks like they dragged him out of the pub.

I reckon this game is well placed for White to come on and really have an impact.

I disagree that the defence is generally offside. They are flat and coming up quick but they're generally ok. Genia needed to use the quick ball he got better.

Fantastic half of rugby
Best refereeing performance of the tournament to date
Both sides wanting to score tries
England playing smarter rugby
Slade - kick through for May's second try aside - is so far off the pace
If Australia hadn't coughed the ball up / gone for the miracle pass they could have had a hatful of tries through Slade's channel
May scored two great tries, but if the English players could pass left to right and get the ball in Watson's hands early then he would be the tournament top try scorer. Dynamite
Petaia (sp) showing he belongs there
Scrum has been fascinating
Substitutions - personnel and timing of entry into the match - will determine the result
