Ive just checked. We also both went for BOP High Southland Low
And its an unusual situation for me. Wanting Canterbury to win well.

Good luck @Winger it’s been a close comp !

And after the closest finish in many years, they can't be split. Bay Imports gets 7 from the final game to Winger's 5 and they share the trophy. Wairarapa Bush overturn their first leg deficit to win by a point from Wellington, well done to that team. Full update tomorrow.

Come on KP, here’s your chance to pick something completely arbitrary like who got their selections in the earliest each week or number of correct 1-8 margin selections - to decide a single winner.

Wait I found something in the small print ....
In the event of a tie, the player who plays on the same team as the organiser of the competition will be declared the winner.
Well done @bayimports. Deserved!

Here's the final, final update - everything is updated on the website now.
In the final weekend, Winger was actually the champion as the clock ticked past 80 minutes in the final game. If Harbour could have held on, there would have been no points awarded and he would have won by 2. However it was not to be and he has to share the trophy with Bay Imports - it has happened before as you no doubt recall, the NPC tipping trophy was shared by Higgins, Donsteppa and myself back in 2008. Victor joined them on the podium in 3rd.
In the final weekend, only Sportboy picked 7/7 bravely backing the Taniwha to win - he was beaten for top score by FarNthHayden who had Ta$man as the high scorers.
Wairarapa Bush also left it late to beat Wellington by just a point in the final. They did it with consistency, every scoring player getting between 38 and 42 - Wellington had to count a pair of 34s and that was the difference.
See you all again in 3 months or so when it will be time to register for Super Rugby tipping 2020.

Thanks KP (and Duluth?) for another outstandingly run competition. It's always fun (Ive only missed one) even when I do poorly. Like the last super competition where I was poor almost every week. Shame Wellington missed out (its a bit like the team) but well done to Wairarapa-Bush.
