Decision on whether match would go ahead was meant to made at midnight Scottish time. Decision now pushed back until 2.30-3am. (60-90 mins from now)
Lots of Scots fans losing sleep - literally.
There you go! We’ll wait a bit more.

According to NHK the decision was meant to happen at 9am (JST) so they should announce momentarily.
You mean start to announce and then stop again?

Pretty much.

According to Yahoo here in Japan, they are going to wait until 6 hours before the match to make the final decision, which sucks for my sister who has a three hour train ride to get here, so it will be a busy afternoon if she wants to try to make it.
My assumption is that there is considerable clean up at the ground and they are seeing how much can be done before making the decision.

So how can this result knock out the Paddies?
No.
So the Scots can leapfrog the Japanese but the Irish are safe? Oh yes, BP win 7+

Yes. Maximum points the sweaties can get is five from this game. Japan need to either win, or ensure Scotland don't get a bonus point while they remain within eight points so they get a bonus losing point.

If it wasn't for the undue influence of Scotland on World Rugby this game would have been called off.

Confirmed. We’re going!

I wonder if any of them are going to backtrack on their comments?

Or the scenario that Japan get a two bonus point loss.
After all is said and done with refs, TMO’s, cards, typhoons and cancellations - the final pool match is a big decider.
I’m wanting a Japan victory because they have been playing good rugby. Scotland’s form has been iffy at best with some good stuff but some very mediocre attack.

Is that their aura?

It would be so funny if the far north poms lost.
-
@Baron-Silas-Greenback I'm really, really, really hoping they do!!

The track is going be wet. I saw footage of the Japanese team training yesterday and you could see the water kicking up. That and the tunnel from the sheds to the field was under almost half a metre of water yesterday morning
