Technically the TMO was right. However there is a serious issue if the TMO is getting involved in looking at technical offences. Most tries will be ruled out if that is the level of precision that is expected from the TMO.

Goddam ridiculous - I think if you went back there were a few aussies leading in with shoulders to that ruck as well.
The Aussie discipline is woeful. Zero reason to be trying to prove how tough you are against Uruguay. Just dumb. -

TMO Ben Skeen, Someone tell this knob not to give up his day job. Oh wait, he's deputy principal at Auckland Grammar. He should stick to his day job, being pedantic is perfect.
At least one thing is guaranteed - we won't get him as a TMO anytime soon. Hopefully he is working as a special op to ensure we get the right opponent later on in the tourney...kinda like a Suzy.

Missed tackles the biggest point of difference. Everything else is remarkably competitive. Great effort by Uruguay.

Uruguay caused the Aussies a few problems at breakdown time, managing to get underneath the Aussies and beat them to the punch especially in the 1st half when Australia weren't committing numbers.
Job done for the Wallabies.

Had a Google of that a few months ago and there is the possibility that they're getting that right.
Apparently you can pronounce the A either long or short in Samoan.
Would like to get Jordan's own take on pronunciation.
Much like Manus Labuschagne deciding his name should be pronounced Labooshayne (or Josh Parparlee who plays for the Canberra Raiders) because Australaia.

Most innocuous chin tap from Coleman sets the YC precedent and then ref proceeds to ignore Hooper and Beale.
Hooper should have seen yellow and penalty try to Uruguay.
Would have been interesting to see how Australia reacted to that.
Australia really are a team of thick bullies, which is hardly surprising considering the coach they have.
Off the top ball for Kuridrani's try, goes in untouched.
Could have and should have done that all afternoon.
Expect Kurtley to have a couple of matches in the stands.
First Uruguay try gets called back because he was a ball hair offside.
Pocock does the same in second half and it's all good.

Re the TMO.
Can the TMO inject himself without being invited?
Yes, Uruguay 8 was offside, but it wasn't picked up on field.
I'm torn as to whether we got the correct result.
