North Harbour vs Wellington

@Higgins how many games has he had there though? That's something he could learn if a coach wanted to pound it into him over an off season. It's certainly a position which we lack depth in already and badly from next season. He's quite tall for an 8, which could be part of the problem, but surely a better technique could be trained into him. He'd be dynamic off the back potentially.
Wouldn't be an issue if Wellington and the Hurricanes hadn't been so fucken incompetent a few years back and lost Nelson Asofa Solomona.
Asafoa Solomona had signed for the Melbourne Storm a couple of years before he finished up with his school days at Wellington College so probably was never available as a serious target for Wellington Rugby anyway.

@Stargazer another try will make it interesting
-
Wellington have shown a bit of ticker to get back into it. Mostly lead by Kirifi, he has been outstanding. But don't think they have enough time.
-
@Canes4life how hard does Kirifi run into contact..wow..!, and why on earth TBN not start..?
-
How can't the Canes coaches see how talented Ben Nicholas is - taking the piss if they think Prinsep and co are better.
-
@Canes4life TBN is the best number 8 running in this comp bar none in my opinion ..Wellington coaches are on drugs..!
-
@Steven-Harris I don't think he's the best, but he's certainly putting his hand up for a SR spot as "one of" the best.
-
@Stargazer Certainly better than Akira who has a Super contract.
-
Gee Wellington are good team to watch even though they are gonna come up short..their physicality and ball movement staggering

Isn't he playing for Wellington?
-
A Canes back three of Savea, Kirifi & Ben Nicholas would be fun to watch.

@Canes4life you know how this will play out..TBN will probably get picked up the Saders..and we will all be left scratching our heads..I cant think of a number 8 that I have been more excited about in recent times, maybe Akira, but what I like about TBN, he’s just makes a decision and goes full throttle..and work rate to go along with it ..I can only really think of Gareth Evans who has more pace off the back of a scrum and is a great line out option ,also has great work rate , but outside Evans I am really scratching my head to think of an 8 with this sort of power, size and this dynamic at this point in time
