They're taking Italy seriously then
This is the game Italy have targeted so the Boks would be crazy not to take it extremely seriously.
A potential banana skin for the Boks if they don't pitch up 100%. We have lost to Italy before when we just arrived and thought it would be an easy game. The 6-2 split is interesting.
Frans Steyn can in theory cover 10 to 15 although these days he's a bit slow to be out on the wing...But SA will have the luxury of bringing on an entire new tight 5 at some point so my guess is they are looking to try and dominate heavily up-front. The Bok wingers may well catch a cold..
-
@Billy-Webb I would hope they're getting it out to the wing a lot, because Italy have nothing to stop Kolbe

Maybe late in the game or from loose play / turnover ball.
But my guess is the Boks are going to make this trench warfare - at least for a large part up front. -

Latest weather prediction is that it will rain. So a real forwards slug-fest I suspect.

A pox on you sir.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.I am bloody nervous about this game - and you're not helping!

Mate, there is no chance of that happening. Literally no chance.

Game is at midday SA time on Friday.
I have arranged for a braai and beers for all my staff so they can watch the game in true Saffer style.
You'd better bloomin well be right. Otherwise I am pouring water on the braai and making them all work overtime on the weekend. -

Something about Camels? I know a guy...
We are going to side-tracked here, but many, many years ago my wife and I were tourists in Egypt.
I was offered 1,000 camels for my wife.
She was not in the least bit pleased that I hesitated before declining the offer. -

Studying with some PNG cadets a few decades ago and one of our classmates was an attractive, big titted Asian; Hāfu. One of the PNG boys said "I would buy her for 80,000 kina".
Thinking back, it would've been a bargain.
