@Stargazer this line pretty much sums up the article:
"… New Zealand, the most positive attacking team in the world, have their flip side. They are also the most cynical cheats at a breakdown."
It's all jealousy 'cos ABs are so good at it. All part of the game, giving away penalties when needed etc. Every team does it, but like most things, ABs the best at it.

I'd love to see Owen Farrell go in for one of his trademark shoulder only tackles and get marched. Lots of teams out there that engage in proper filth but no one is moaning about them

Was Colin Farrell around long enough to gain a reputation for shoulder only tackles. Here are the reasons why he did not stay in the All Blacks for any period of time.
In his favour he did at least find touch with most of his kicks and the one he didn't he forced the Lions player into a knock on. It was also delivishily cold ana rainy at Athletic Park and very heavy underfoot conditions at Lancaster Park. Quinny in fine voice though. -

I haven’t bothered watching that video above but whenever I see Farrell I say a little prayer that England fall into a massive hole at some point.
Mike Brown May be gone but between Farrell and Itoje there is still a lot of face punch ability happeningWatch the video. It's explained

If he gets one thing correct in that vid it's that 'players like Itoje are encouraged to be complete bell ends'

Looks like this year autumn will be a bit later, so it should stay warm right through the WC:
Summer temperatures have yet to cool off, and meteorologists believe that this year’s scorching heat may have pushed back the arrival of autumn foliage season — predicting its start will likely be later than usual across almost all regions of Japan.

Imagine being stopped from progressing to the finals due to games being cancelled and declared a draw! All good if you're playing a stronger team you might lose to, anyway, but if you expect a bonus point win against a minnow, it's another story!
Obviously, there are worse things than that if lives are in danger because of natural disasters ...
A tropical cyclone heading for Tokyo has brought into focus the potential disruption at the Rugby World Cup with the prospect of cancelled games causing havoc in the pool stage. Tropical Storm Faxai is expected to develop into a typhoon and may hit Tokyo over the weekend or at the start of next week, around 10 days before the start of the competition. Tournament organisers have been bracing themselves for weather disruption, as Japan averages around 30 typhoons and 1,500 earthquakes a year, but Faxai’s potential arrival so close to the start of the tournament underlines the threat posed. This time last year the biggest storm for 25 years struck Kobe and Osaka, both of which will be hosting World Cup games. Organisers have planned for the possibility of having to relocate teams from their bases or even to move matches to different venues but, if a pool match is cancelled, tournament rules state that both teams will be awarded two points – in effect rendering the result a 0-0 draw. That in turn could have a significant bearing on the final standings in the pool stage and even hamper some teams’ chances of advancing to the knockout stages. Should, for example, South Africa or New Zealand be deemed to draw with Canada or Namibia – teams against which they would expect to secure comfortable bonus point wins – the standings in Pool B could be significantly skewed. A World Rugby spokesperson said: “Any pool match that cannot be played on the same day will be determined a draw with two match points each. However, we will be doing everything we can to ensure that the match is played in a safe environment for teams and fans.”
The most high-profile weather-affected World Cup match in recent memory was the 1995 semi-final between France and the eventual winners South Africa. A deluge in Durban forced kick-off to be delayed by an hour, though tournament rules state that any cancelled match in the knockout stages will be rescheduled. For pool stage fixtures, if the match begins but is abandoned before half‑time, two points will also be awarded to both teams although points scored in the match, and bonus points, will still count. The result will stand if a match is abandoned at or after half-time and the same cut-off point applies in knockout matches.

So did the ABs go on time this AM?
Dunno about on time, but they are few hours from landing there according to the news, so they got away at some stage.
F'ing hated going into typhoons. At least Wellington was always like that, you knew what you were getting.

At least you were the bloke that had some control and knew the actual state of affairs.
As a passenger you didn't know what-the-f the situation was actually like.I remember leaving HK when a typhoon was coming in - we were the last flight to get out - and for about half an hour it felt like we riding one of the world's biggest roller-coasters. Kudos to the pilots to get us through that sh#t unscathed.

Yep, they're there, my friend is at Narita and put up a picture saying 'I got an All Blacks signature'. So, I asked who, and he was like 'no idea'
Pretty sure it was Ryan Crotty, so he's not injured yet.
The ABs report that centre Ryan Crotty picked up a repetitive strain injury while signing autographs on arrival at Tokyo International Airport.
