Yes, it was.... but you know what happens if Wales wins this?
Go England!Wales looking much better team so far.
If Wales win this: Shane Williams will get excited and talk too much. -
Turgid arm wrestle
Wales 10 - 6 England
62 mins gone -
the only way we stay number 1 is if this is a draw.
Wales win, they become #1 (well done!)
England win, and become #1
England Vs Ireland next week is chance for both teams.I have long thought the ranking system to be designed against NZ-we get nothing for beating teams under us. We really should have over 100...

27 mins goneI can barely understand the Welsh commentator. Like, 10%, listening carefully.
Shane Williams
Too fast for you? 😉Watching listening to the game on C4. Andrew Cotter is making the game watchable - great commentator
Ickle Shane is a bit rubbish IMHO as a comments man. Better than Jonathan "space out wide" Davies, but that's not hard. English comments bloke is even worse.
-
We now deserve to lose this
-
It's a bit of a shit game isn't it?
-
Yep
-
But I'll take it
-
Time to switch over to the Saffa-Argie Friendly.
-
Wales 13 - 6 England
76 mins goneJarrod Evans finally on
-
Great defence by Wales
-
Wales 13 - 6 England
Not a classic but we've gone from shithouse to penthouse.
England looked bereft.

England give the impression of giving lots of snappy accurate passes and then the receiver slows down...

That maul defence saved Wales from a draw and being 3rd place.....now, drum roll, NUMBER 1 congratulations!
1 (↑2) Wales 89.43 (+0.55)
2 (↓1) New Zealand 89.40 (+0.35)We know we're not but we have the best record this season, albeit against different and weaker opposition than the ABs
-
@sparky probably not because some Nthn hem teams have an extra 2 games...and we get no points for beating Tonga...
Next week England/Ireland play-if Ireland win, they go #1, we to #3.
If England win, then it is Wales, NZ, Ireland, England.Sept 1 is Wales Vs Ireland in Wales, and if Wales win we are #2, and if they lose, we are #1.
September 7 . Wales Vs Ireland again, in Dublin.
Assuming Wales win at home, and Ireland win at home, we will be back at number 1.
If Wales win twice they will be 91.00 to our 89.4
If Wales lose twice to Ireland, Ireland will be 89.83 to NZ 89.4
If both teams win away but lose at home Wales & NZ tie on 89.4 -
