I actually quite like Romney, the shame of last time was he had to move right & say stupid stuff to get the nomination - for example he did Omabacare correctly & well & then had to pretend he hated the idea.

Wonder what Al Gore is up to...
-

Romney is a ridiculously wealthy Mormon from Boston. Try selling that to the voters. But I agree, he's an impressive guy.

This thing with Trump is no longer a joke. A Trump/Carsen ticket? I love Carson's story, but his views on creationism are very disturbing.

What I've been floored by is how incredibly uninspiring J. Bush is. I presumed a popular Florida governor would have a least some charisma, but damn that guy is dull.
-

GOP debate tonight lasted 3 hrs 13 minutes. First hour was everybody vs. Donald. Last couple hours was mostly crazed red meat idiocy about war, terrorism, who would be tougher facing down Iran and Putin, which candidate was the most like Reagan, and surprisingly, reefer madness. In his limited time, it was left to Rand Paul to attempt pointing out their contradictory policy positions on military missions in the Mid-East and waging the war on drugs at home. You'd have believed he had horns growing out of his head the way they were looking him. When each candidate was asked what the first thing they would do as president, no fewer than four of them mentioned their first priority is calling Bibi and repairing diplomatic ties with Israel.

Genuine question - but who seriously has time to go to one of these things? It just seems a bizarre way to spend a weekday evening.

Playing to the audience there.

It was a pretty interesting call, his big chaser at the moment (during the no one gives a fuck phase) is Ben Carson, so he tosses that one at Carson knowing half the mentals in the Republican party will freak when Carson, as he had to, says "thats bullshit"

My wife is currently involved in a drug trial with those horrible bastards known as "Big Pharma" you stupid, ignorant fuckwit. It will hopefully save her life. But yeah, maybe we should go for natural remedies. That worked a fucking treat for Steve Jobs didn't it.
