    I feel extremely sorry for ALB. Every bloody week he has different guys around him.

    Speaks volumes for the bloke he keeps giving his all despite being buggered about all the time.

    @taniwharugby That depends if they can claim he was likely to play for Taranaki in the non-test weeks. He hadn't played since the Super Rugby quarter final on 21 June after all, so maybe they can use the same reasoning as they used for SBW when he got that red card during the lions series.

    @Wairau

    Who'd you have replacing the injured Crotty and/or SBW after the usual 10-15 minutes of play?

    no one cares. Seriously. Scott Barrett is average. Not awful, but average. If we need him at the World Cup, we are boned.

    And that's it. If we are forced to start him, the campaign is already over.

    Also, a very belated congratulations to Oz. You were all over us tonight. White had a blinder, and your forwards fronted up big time.

    @Victor-Meldrew
    You have to start your best team, safest pairing at Eden Park.
    If worst came to worst, ALB got good game time today.

    The replay will be bitter viewing.

    For now, I'd cut the AB backs some slack.

    AB forwards do not get dominated by Wannabies. For me their 4-5-6-8 outphysicalled us. The ten minutes after halftime where we played with one lock and Savea at 6 did for us.

    Don't think Savea answer as 'tight' loosie. Much prefer Hemopo. And Frizell or Squire to Fifita.

    If Scottie B gets a 'holiday' who comes in?

    @Kirwan Is it next Saturday? I might have to change my flights back to Auckland for a few days earlier.

    @mariner4life First Ireland, then South Africa, now this. It sucks big time trying to have humility!

    One big plus in this game was seeing Lealiifano playing so well.

    Bloody great to see him back after leukemia - must be an inspiration to loads of people

    @mariner4life Absolutely this. I harp on about it too, and being proven "right" is crappy.

    fuck humility. we are being beaten fair and square and it fucks me off. Because it's up front we are being beaten. And that hurts personally for some dumb ass reason.

    @Victor-Meldrew Yeah, I actually think he's a significantly better player than he used to be.

    Fair point, but SBW just doesn't cut it for me. Too many dumb errors.

    An injury-free Crotty would be a huge bonus though.

    Who else was getting the shits with Reiko? Whenever the camera was on him, he was smiling and trying to look smug (at his opponent I presume). You have hardly played a good game all year, Reiko, pull your head in and start focusing on becoming the world's best winger again.

    A bit of hypa-bowl goes a long way after an AB loss.

    Never a fan of losing especially to the Aussies, but I do like that we are going to have to come up with something different. I’m optimistic about what lies ahead for Eden Park. Aussies on a high, we’re in a hole - has the makings of a big test match.
