    @Jaguares4real we might not be the biggest, but we are the most liveable. https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2018/05/wellington-voted-most-liveable-city-for-second-year-in-a-row.html

    Don't let this descend into which city is better because some foreign troll is posting.

    Jordie obviously wasn't motivated purely by the money as all media reports had the Highlanders, and then the Blues, offering a bigger contract than the Canes.

    @Jaguares4real so the correct term is being a dick?

    Given we are talking about playing within NZ why does any international perspective matter?

    @Bovidae would be interesting to see how much difference there was between offers. Could imagine the Highlanders had some coin to play with given upcoming changes in their squad. Bet the Blues backs make more than the forwards 🙂

    @Paekakboyz Yeah very messy this contract.Brothers are mentioned in there are we going to have a scenario where BB takes a sabbatical in 2021,
    So JB plays with Scott at the Crusaders then transfers to the Blues in 2022.Potential of 3 Franchises in 3 years.

    @Chris I like your analysis, but can't bring myself to like the post!! 3 franchises in three years would be very lame.

    The Highlanders would be smart to gift a contract to little-known brother Blake Barrett in the hope it entices Jordie south.

    I hope he is a cop as he would need some pretty decent work stories around the Chrissy table with his Brothers.

    Jordie has some cop stories that he could share about Dunedin too.

    Speaking of that perhaps Mr and Mrs Ioane need to watch Akiras portion sizes compared to Reikos this Xmas....

    There's an alternative. Scott's contract expires next year ....

    The 30-year-old resisted the lure of lucrative overseas offers to re-sign with the Waratahs and is in sight of becoming their most capped player.

    @Tim

    The Tuggeranong Viking product has progressed through the Brumbies’ ACT Junior Representative grades and Academy structure and will join fellow junior internationals Noah Lolesio and Nick Frost in the squad for 2020.

    So after a year or so in the Crusaders academy, Frost hasn't only played for Australia U20 but he also got a Brumbies' contract.
