@Chris-B yeah I think we're 30 - 40 runs short, unless England make a disastrous start there won't be a lot of RR pressure.
We're a chance given the strength of our bowling (ranked #1 for the tournament as a group) but I'm not convinced this pitch is as bad as the last.
We made hard work of it. So many dot balls. Not enough strike changing. Sure we didn’t hit a lot of boundaries and credit to England for disciplined bowling and fielding, but there were far too many ‘sweetly timed’ shots straight to fielders.
England’s batting lineup is very good, we will need some off the charts performances with the ball and in the field.

The runs will come for England if we don't take wickets. They seem less likely to meekly tap the ball to the field.
Yup, Roy is nearly getting out every 3rd ball but is keeping his strike rate up.
-
Ugh, that win percentage.
Then again it shifted pretty quick against India
-
Roy nearly gets out again. Tin arse.
-
Just doesn't feel like it's going to be our day.
-
Good start for England now. We really needed those early breakthroughs. They can just coast once the ball gets older.

Showing us how to bat on this pitch
In fairness to Guptill he was playing positive, just didn't have the same amount of luck.

Roy runs out of lives, 9th time lucky!
