Jaysus, are you getting escort services laid on as well as broadband?

remember - it only costs 80 bucks for all the games; sounds like you could be better off with an alternative provider and just pay for spark RWC directly.
$60 if you got in on the early bird offer. I'm still waiting for their ATV app so haven't bothered checking it out yet.
I get the impression that the uptake of Spark Sport hasn't been what they expected as they are offering a free subscription for new Spark users. The Com Com should be all over this after Spark's complaints about the Sky-Vodafone merger.

I know I could likely find this on thier website, but when I was looking at the RWC packages last night, it said 'compatible devices' or something...
So does that mean I cant watch on my laptop and stream to my TV via HDMI?
I know it might be way back in this thread people said there are ways the software can restrict iPads, Phones etc from streaming, but is this the same?

You spunk $330 a month on your phone bill yet are quibbling over paying $70 to get all matches live?
Absolutely. It’s the principle of the thing. They can give it away to someone taking out a new contract for $300 a year. They can give it to me and they are in the same position after a month. I’ll make them do it if I can. No question.
BTW it’s not just phone, it’s 2 mobile plans and fibre as well.

@JC you sound like my dad. His reasoning for not taking up the spark offer, "I've paid enough money to them over the years". Wants me to hook him up with a VPN, when I told him he'd have to pay he was hesitant. Must be his Shetland Island blood shining through.

This is a massive risk from Spark. I'm far from convinced NZ is ready for the WC to be streamed. My last place couldn't even get VDSL and we really struggled to stream anything, and that was fairly central in Auckland. There will be plenty of NZers who will struggle, and that's not even mentioning whether Sparks infrastructure will handle the load as expected.

I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face with this.
I flat out am refusing to purchase the RWC. True-Love is a little surprised with my stubbornness but it looks as though I will be watching televised replays and just the semis and final (which I believe will be on the telly?)
