On the Donald run out: Harsh to blame him, the ball barely trickled past the stumps at the non-striker's end, sensible to get back in your ground in that case.
On Greg Chappell: He abided by the rules as they were at the time - just as Broad did when he edged one to first slip and didn't walk.
Very correct - and Douglas Jardine when he put those fielders backward of square!

I'm really enjoying the rain delays. We are so lucky to have Test Match Special being broadcast on Radio Sport and the wonderful discussions they have during the breaks in play. Wondeful way to pass the time awaiting the restart and brings back memories of the good times when we always had TMS broadcast live every time England played at home (or the MCC for away games) all those years ago.

That's the sound of a big glasshouse breaking 😉
Sure it's not the cabinet we keep our 5 CWC trophies in?
Guess you don't know what that sounds like
😉
You're Brad "We won didn't we?" Haddin?
I'm sure you're proud if yourselves.

Brilliant news for the Aussies. @NTA will be relieved:

So according to the rules, you're off playing 2 games and winning 1, losing 1 than having both rained off. Which is harsh on any team that does have multiple games rained off that they would have expected to win.
Bangladesh coach was on the radio today saying he was banking on 2 points vs SL and was disappointed.
Steady on pal, remember your teams place in the games echelon....

BTW who else doesn't hate Australia. 170 for 1 after 25 overs with the world's two best batsmen at the crease.
4hundy plus easy.
Rain goddammit!

@booboo I think from our point of view, it's better if Aussie beats Pakistan. We will be fighting it out for the last semi final spot with the likes of Pakistan, the Windies and South Africa so the less points these teams can accumulate against the better teams, the better for us.
