Another good win by the injury depleted Tigers against the Hawks. 95 - 59
Percentage wise leaves us just outside the top four.
-
@antipodean considering the circumstances , humming along nicely , couldn’t ask for more
-
Just caught the last 30 seconds of the Show Down.
Dunno who played well or otherwise but we'll take it.
4th! (Ok ... percentages and remaining results notwithstanding...)
3rd.
How'd we do that without playing anyone?
7th now.
1 point makes massive difference
-
Injury depleted...
Fucking Richmond nuffs
All pretty much to script today.
Lions need to go 7-6 from here out to play finals. Be a lot easier if we could kick straight
-
Carlton bite the bullet and sack Bolton. I guess losing 39 of the last 43 is a good way to get yourself rissoled.
Why is it that coaches always get sacked the week their sides are due to play against the team i support. Always happens to the Warriors. And who do Carlton play this weekend? oh yeah, the Lions. Fucking dead cat bounce.
Lions beat the Hawks on the weekend to go 7-4 and sit in 5th. The next 3 are all very winnable against Carlton, St Kilda and Melbourne
And buy blowing yet another game, you can stick a fork in Melbourne for the year as well. That's a hell of a fall from being preseason contenders.
Geelong 2 games clear at the top now. I think the top 4 as it stands is what we will end up with at the end of the season.

Sad for the Dees. It's almost like after so many poor to ordinary years, the first good one in a decade or more has placed an expectation on the guys that they just can't live up to. I feel for Nathan Jones. Wouldn't surprise me now if they went on a tear with the pressure off, and all too late.

Nah fuck 'em ... Crows needed that win.
Crows aren't that good really. Flukey win against the Dees who are nowhere.
Mind you 8 of the last 9 goals ...
Still, we're still at 7th.

Richmond getting put firmly back in their box
-
-
To be in contention for a premiership, obviously you need talent, but you also need a fit list and everyone in form and on the same page ,
That’s where Richmond were in 17 and 18 , first and third ,
That’s where Geelong are now , looking the real deal
-
Geelong look good everywhere. Talent and the right game plan. Still, the best team in June means frig all

Adelaide were doing that in June 2017 , Richmond last year ,
The main concern for Geelong, it’s a pretty old team , their window will close pretty quickly , it’s now or never ,
I like David kings analysis, and he said , when you come up with a new game plan or innovation, and it’s working really well, you have to capitalise on it straight away and win that premiership, because teams quickly work it out and it becomes yesterday’s news before you know it , and then it’s gone
-
Fucking dead cat bounce
Disgraceful

Because the sellotape held overnight. That looked terrible.

I love AFL, but there's a lot of faggy shit these skinny fucks get away with.
Stratton has spent all night pinching Fantasia's arm to the point where he has bruises. That is piss weak.
