@Canes4life HOBM not playing last week, but are we expecting the team to have a different captain this week then?
-
@Canes4life oh shit, I didn't realise he was an ex Cane. I thought it must be the halfback.
-
I wonder if something like this will ruin his career, though to be fair I didn't think he was Super quality anyway.

Something similar has not put an end to the career of K Hunt, but then again I suppose the amount of talent available over there probably played a factor in that. The HOBM player/s could consider making a home in the NRL.
In all seriousness all players in the NPC and Heartland championships know they can be tested for drugs so you must wonder why a professional athlete would put his livelihood at stake knowing they could be tested. Complete and utter stupidty. The WRFU ripped up the contract of Losi Filipo so they have set a precedent about those sort of things. -

Andrew Makalio and Will Jordan resignYay, would have been a stupid move to sign with the Highlanders

Showing once again, how stupid all speculations in the media are.
I think the Highlanders were putting out a positive rumour at the same time news was breaking about even more players leaving.

Will Jordan rebuffed offers from other New Zealand franchises to stick with his hometown Crusaders for at least three more years.
Makalio, now in his third season with the Crusaders, confirmed he turned down another offer to stick with the red and blacks, citing the team's culture for his decision to stay put.At Least the Highlanders and Blues are actively trying to recruit.
