I've got a newer LG, so looking forward to the app being out. Great thing about it is the remote is a magic mouse type thing, makes it so easy to use. I find that some streaming/casting can have a tiny delay from image to sound, which can be bloody annoying, normally OK using ChromeCast, but sometimes not
I had an LG with a magic mouse - boy did i hate that thing. Give me an old school remote any day.

Come on here at your peril!!!
In other words the standard warning for visiting the Fern!

Bought the RWC pass about a month ago. Finally (attempted to ) downloaded the app today - but my Ipad is about 1000 iOS versions behind the minimum requred. Don't think my old ipad will be capable of iOS 10.
Downloaded the app to my phone instead.
One day I'll get around to trying to cast it to the telly.

I watched F1 when Spark Sports first came out and there were definitely some teething issues re-streaming. The quality of the rugby today was excellent though, so they have obviously had a chance to iron out some of those kinks.

I watched NZ v Georgia match on a desktop computer (Chrome) and the quality of the streaming was excellent. No hick-ups whatsoever. What's the Fern's experience been with other devices?
Watched a 1987 game on the weekend and wife commented how poor quality it was and that I had wasted my money. I had to point out it was 1987.....

@JK bet you got some action after that. Chicks love it when you point out their mistakes.
No more than any other night mate

@JK it is disturbing to see the quality (or lack of) of the images we used to eat up...we are spoiled with the quality at present.
Yeah. I accidentally recorded a few games in SD last year because Fox are idiots. Pretty much unwatchable.

Footage of cricket from the old days is barely watchable; you can't even see the ball. You just got a general idea of what was happening based on the batsmen's shot and the umpires signal.

Some of the worst footage for NZ cricket/rugby is from the early 2000's. It seems everything is on worn VHS.

And that content is what? Fuck all?
I've always been disappointed how little they put up, and cancelled my sub because of it. I'd watch old games if they put them up, for example.
Cancelled your sky sub or just your sub to the rugby channel?
