I wish! I'm stoked for Liverpool as they aren't a team I dislike. My favourite ever football game is When they came back to beat Milan in the final all those years ago.

Holy shit, I'm posting in a soccer football thread! Just caught the result, what an epic win. Heard the first goal scored on RS during my drive into work - but no one thought they'd overcome the deficit.

Can't wait to hear about the (not so) tragics that had a bet on Liverpool making it through. Cha-ching!!

TAB post on FB after the win that someone put $500 @$12 that Liverpool go through to the final, just before kick-off. (So that bet allows for a 3-3 draw and win in Extra time or penalties)

That is a truly amazing achievement with 2 of your 3 star forwards out. Probably the best comeback ever in UCL and better than Barca v PSG. Klopp cemented himself as a Liverpool legend whatever happens in the future.

Probably a good thing City beat Brighton as it gave them a free swing at Barca. Amazing ....

It's hard to be as stoked today as yesterday and the drama of the result as my monthly stoked quota was all used up yesterday.

This is just as unreal. 3-0 down with only 35 mins to go, away from home and you get a hero to score a hat trick! That is insane!

And just for extra drama, let that happen in the 6th minute of overtime when only 5 was put up on the board! The time wasting from Ajax proved to really hurt them!

As a neutral, I'm not sure there's anything quite like a penalty shoot out. Even in games where I literally don't care about the result, I still find them super tense.
