Highlanders vs Chiefs

Entertaining game. Can't say I've noticed Jacobsen much before, but he was excellent!
Whitelock can have a bit of shit for other things, but that shot at goal is not one of them. Seven point lead and a kick off reception with two minutes left - no brainer. Take the points and back yourself.

Absolutely the right decision

Another game where the home team manage to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat. Who knew? I'll take it though. Man, Ithought we'd ship loads of points in this game. Twonpoints is better than none! Outstanding from Jacobson. Good time for him to be playing out of his skin too, in front of Shag.

@Jailbreak7 what? Game was in Dunedin

Young Ioane is a wee warm glow in a clan man's heart. Mo'unga lite
Giving Azza Mauger a chance at nailing an off loading game, would be nice to get right for all the indoor games.
Still spewing at the leadership with 4 minutes to go, had to be a clock eating scrum

Quite the neat little 1-2 punch there from McKay/Li at the end, both stinking up the joint to a massive extent - although to be fair to Li he threw one awesome pass. McKay is there for his speed so with the line basically open in front of him it was great to see him stop, cut back inside, then stop again. He's learnt well watching Li this season. Fucking morans.
Absolute shamozzle from the highlanders on defence, certainly lucky the Chiefs didn't have more ball. Summed up nicely by watching McKenzie fend off top defensive players left, right and centre.
King Hemopo.

For a few Ferners here : it's Jacobson and not Jacobsen.
Pity. It would make a better story if he was the son of Danish migrants.
